Growing up in Ocean City, Maryland, Charles focused mainly on sports but his Love for music grew quickly when playing, writing and learning with his father every night on the couch. After graduating college, he realized that the days of shoulder pads and helmets were over and made the decision to take the big leap to Nashville to relentlessly pursue his music and dreams.
